about

in december 2018 we were commissioned to create an interactive art sound installation, highlighting human rights. each paragraph of the universal declaration of human rights was written on a small piece of paper, and it had an object attached to it. by touching the object you would trigger a specifically related sound scape/ short loop. triggering several sounds one by one, you could create a kind of an ever changing sound scape.

i recorded the sound scape for 'human rights' on an intuitive level, not necessarily wanting to get into process, which literally translates language into sound. the music/ sounds is/ are played on an ibanez 6 string short scale bass, using generative apps (csSpectral, Echo Pad, Echo Pitch, Dedalus, Reverb, iDensity, AUFX.Space and AUFX.Dub) on the iPad.

All music is played live. The only audio post-processing is mastering.
